Submitted abstracts will be reviewed and scored by the World Congress International Planning Committee.  All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in IBIA’s official journal, Brain Injury.

To facilitate the review process, the following abstract categories have been developed for the 14th World Congress on Brain Injury.

SUBMISSION

 

DEADLINE

The abstract submissions are due Friday, September 11th, 2020 at 11:59pm PST.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • The name used in the abstract submission will be displayed as the presenter in the online agenda.
  • Emails sent by IBIA2021 to abstract presenters will be sent to the email address provided in the abstract submission.
  • It is the responsibility of that recipient to ensure that the actual presenter receives all communications from the time of submission until after the conference.

*Submissions must be data-driven or assessment/treatment model descriptions.

WORD LIMIT
The abstract word limit will be 450 words with English characters; if you use accents, umlauts, etc., the abstract will count them as additional words (please use the Special Characters keyboard).

REVIEW PROCESS

The International Planning Committee will review and determine which abstracts receive awards, as well as the most appropriate presentation format (oral or poster) for each accepted abstract.

AWARDS

Awards will be given to the top scoring abstracts submitted in each of the main categories. For details on Abstract Awards, click here.

Accepted abstracts will be published in a supplemental issue of IBIA’s official journal, Brain Injury.
